November is Adoption Awareness Month. Every year Children and Family Services supports hundreds of children find their forever families through adoption or private guardianship.
Overview
If you are considering adoption or private guardianship in Alberta, an information session on the legal permanency programs is a great way to learn about each program. The information sessions will help you figure out if it is a good fit for you and your family. You can begin the application process after attending an information session, if you decide this is the right program for you. Both our in-person sessions (Edmonton and Calgary) and virtual sessions are open to Albertans living in any part of the province.
