Overview
The Integrated Training Program offers eligible Albertans competency-based training for skills needed in real-work situations by offering occupation-related skills, work experience, and essential skills. Integrated Training supports the connection between training and the application of new skills in real-work situations.
This program establishes close relationships between training providers and employers and industry. Through skills training, the program helps Albertans build an understanding about the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed in Alberta’s workforce to help meet local labour market demand.
The Government of Alberta is working in partnership with the Government of Canada to provide employment support programs and services.
Eligibility
Eligible participants are unemployed and under-employed adults in Alberta, who are permanent residents or Canadian citizens. Participants must commit to full-time training to obtain and maintain employment.
