Child Support Recalculation Program – How to register

Follow these steps to register for the program.

Registration delays

New registrations: If you are planning to register with the Child Support Recalculation Program, please send your registration package at least 6 months before the anniversary date of your court order. This will allow us enough time to request and obtain income information before that date.

You may experience longer than normal wait times to receive notification about your registration. We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience while we work to register your file as quickly as possible.

How to register

Either parent can register for the program.

You do not have to be a client of the Maintenance Enforcement Program to register.

Step 1. Fill out the form

Registration Request

Step 2. Submit the form and your child support order

After you register

Once one parent registers, the other parent is obligated to be part of the program.

We cannot recalculate in all cases where a parent is self-employed or involved in a private corporation. If you are self-employed, contact us to discuss the program’s policies before registering.

To find out more about what happens after you register for the program, see the After you register page.
