Municipal election forms

Forms used by municipal election workers and voters.

Resources are currently being updated to reflect recent changes to the Municipal Government Act and the Local Authorities Election Act.

Overview

All legislated local election forms are being updated based on amendments to the Local Authorities Election Act.

If you require an election form that is being updated, you can create your own election form using the wording and format found in the Local Authorities Election Forms Regulation.

Forms for the senate election and referendum vote are based on the Referendum, Senate Election and Local Authorities Election Forms Regulation. This allows for the requirements of each piece of legislation to be captured in one form, rather than requiring additional forms. See the Referendum and Senate Election section below for form requirements. Additional information on the administration of referendum and senate elections can be found on the Elections Alberta website.
