Overview
The Cultural Industry Grants, under the Alberta Media Fund, provides funding for projects and organizations involved in book publishing, magazine publishing, sound recording and film production.
Grants are divided into the following 4 streams to help organizations cover operating or project expenses:
- Book Publishers Operating Grant
- Magazine Publishers Operating Grant
- Music Organization Operating Grant
- Support Organization Operating Grant

| Music Organization Operating Grant | A minimum of $5,000 and no more than a maximum of $125,000. | June 1 annually at 11:59 pm. | Operating expenses related to sound recording organizations. |
| Support Organizations Operating Grant | $50,000 for operating expenses. Up to 50% for expenses above $50,000. | June 1 annually at 11:59 pm. | Only organizations that have been designated by Alberta Arts, Culture and Status of Women are eligible for funding under this grant. |
