Digital experience standard

Compliance and guides for developing public facing websites and applications for the Government of Alberta.

Introduction

The goals of the digital experience standard create a cohesive user experience for users of Government of Alberta (GoA) websites and applications, prioritizing ease of use, accessibility and readability. If you design, develop or write for GoA public websites and web applications, you must adhere to the digital experience standard to be in compliance with GoA policy.

These standards and resources were created to assist employees and contractors developing public facing websites and applications, and are not aimed at a general audience. Communication and Public Engagement maintains the digital experience standard as part of the GoA Web Governance Policy.
