More than 50,000 Albertans shared their views on education choice through the online survey that closed on December 19, 2019.
Survey responses included:
- 62% of respondents were satisfied with the amount of educational choice in Alberta
- 59% were satisfied with the amount of information available about school choice

The Choice in Education Act passed on June 24, 2020, and came into effect on September 1, 2020.
