Authorization viewer

The authorization viewer allows you to check certain documents issued by the Alberta government. You can access the Authorization Viewer between 7:30 am and 11 pm MST.

You will find information about the following, issued under the Water Act and Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act:

  • approvals
  • licences
  • registrations
  • authorizations
  • permits
  • certificates

When you use the authorization viewer documents, you must understand that:

  • they are summaries only, provided for your convenience
  • no guarantee the information is accurate or complete
  • you rely on them at your own risk

Original documentation

The summary documents on the authorization viewer have no legal standing. Original documents can be found through King’s Printer. These documents can be used for interpretation or application of the law.
