Description: An Alberta Emergency Alert Shelter-in-Place is still in effect for Peers in Yellowhead County due to high river levels.

The Peers Bridge has been compromised. Residents in the south of the hamlet need to Shelter in Place. Egress routes are being planned for residents in the affected area. Call 1-833-334-4630 for more information. Please call 9-1-1 for emergency assistance.

Area: This is for the south part of the Hamlet of Peers in Yellowhead County. Range Road 143A in Peers.

  • Stay at your home if safe
  • Avoid driving through flooded areas
  • Stay away from riverbanks
  • Do not go in any water
  • Prepare important items and pets to take with you if evacuated.
