Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Wildfire Alert Updated
UPDATE 3: The town remains in no immediate danger from the wildfire threat, but residents are recommended to remain vigilant and be prepared to evacuate if conditions change.
The eastern flank of the fire had slow growth over night. Sprinkler protection operations will begin today in town and at the Tolko mill. Residents of High Level and area should prepare in the case the situation changes. The power is out in the entire north and east regions, including the of Town of High Level, First Nation Reserves and all of Mackenzie County. Atco Electric is working to restore the electricity with an estimated time of 6-8 hours.

- No Evacuation Alert in place at this time, but residents should remain vigilant
- Remove as much flammable material as possible from the exterior of properties

- Visit www.511.alberta.ca for road updates
