Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Wildfire Alert Updated
There is a wildfire South and West of the Town of High Level
The wildfire has crossed Highway 58 about 32 kilometers west of High Level. While there remains no imminent threat to the community there is a chance of a disruption to the electrical services. Smoke from the Wildfire is visible from the town, neither the Town of High Level or Norbord Plant are under immediate threat at this time.

Action to take:
- The Town is in contact with ATCO Power, any updates will be posted when available

- No Evacuation Alert in place at this time, but residents should remain vigilant and review their family emergency procedures
- If Evacuation is required, Highway 88 would be a safe route from the hazard area
