Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Telephone Service Disruption Alert Updated
There is an incident that has affected telephone and cell phone communications in the area surrounding the Hamlet of Sangudo. Communication services are being restored by TELUS and are expected to be complete in all areas in the next 24 to 48 hour period.
Severe damages have occurred to the telephone and cell phone communication system in the area of the Hamlet of Sangudo, and a large service area surrounding the Hamlet. As of Monday, April 1, approximately 35 customers remain without land line services. It is estimated that within the next 24 hour period, land line services will be restored for these customers. Cell and Internet services have been restored. TELUS will continue to make more robust repairs over the next several weeks as required.
