Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Flash Flood Alert Updated
Water levels dropped overnight at Fort Vermilion and the major ice flows appear to have cleared. Residents in Fort Vermilion located west of the water treatment plant are allowed to return home. Residents east of the water treatment plant and in North Vermilion remain evacuated. The reception center is open and is located at Fort Vermilion Public School at 44 0 1 50 street.
A phased re-entry plan is being developed for the remaining evacuees. The Mackenzie County Facebook page has additional details.
