Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Flash Flood Alert Updated
Water levels continue to rise at Fort Vermilion creating dangerous situations and flooding along the Peace River. Fort Vermilion residents east of A T B are asked to evacuate to the reception centre at the Fort Vermilion Complex at 5001 – 44 Avenue. All evacuees are asked to check into the reception centre or call 780 927 3718 to register. The Mackenzie County Facebook page has additional details.
The reception centre is located at the Fort Vermilion Community Complex at 5001 – 44 Avenue. Use the curling rink entrance.
