Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Flash Flood Alert Updated
Water levels have not changed significantly over the last 12 hours and remain high. Some areas remain flooded and the risk remains high in the Fort Vermilion area. The reception centre will close at 9:00 and re-open at 6:00 a.m.. The Emergency Coordination Centre will remain open overnight at the County office at 4511 – 46 Avenue. A State of Local Emergency was declared at 10:25 this morning. Residents in North Vermilion, Buttertown, remain evacuated and homes in the area are without power.
