Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Flash Flood Alert Updated
The ice jam on the Peace River released at approximately three thirty this morning.The river is moving at a rapid pace and waters are rising. Ice break up in Fort vermilion is expected later this morning.
Mackenzie County continues to monitor the situation along with Alberta Environment and Parks. More information will be made available to residents as the situation develops.
