Ana and Kiki are sweet youngsters who share a strong sibling bond and are both excited and nervous about finding their forever family! Their wishes and hopes include a family that is kind, can help them with their schoolwork, give them lots of hugs, make them feel safe when they are scared and where they will be able to ‘stay together forever’. A family that shares their love of dogs and keeps one or more as a pet would be icing on the cake!

Ana, born in 2012, is a quiet but sociable girl who especially enjoys the company of her sister and trusted adults. She likes knowing what is expected of her and having a predictable routine. Things that make her happy include family, being outdoors, going to play places, camping, hockey, watching movies and of course – dogs! Ana has a definite love of cheese and if asked what she wants to eat, it will likely be macaroni and cheese, a cheese sandwich or cheese pizza!

Ana attends a regular school program where her curriculum is modified so that her learning goals are matched to her abilities. She enjoys school where reading, art, recess and time in the gym are especially fun. Support and supervision are provided to assist her in staying safe on school grounds and on task in class. Ana is appreciated by her teachers for her empathetic and sweet personality.

Kiki, born in 2014, is a friendly and likeable little girl who enjoys the company of adults and is described as empathetic and helpful around the house. Her favorite things to do include listening to music, drawing, being with family and friends, playing with cats and camping. She would love to have her own room and know that she belongs somewhere for always. Kiki is easy to please and is always ready for a movie night with popcorn, crafting, riding her bike or going swimming.

Kiki is in a regular school program where she works hard to achieve at her grade level. She likes to read and is working to be more independent with her writing. She is described by her teachers as a cheerful social butterfly in the classroom. Kiki is well-liked by everyone for her easy-going personality and helpful nature.

A 2-parent family where Ana and Kiki can be the youngest or only children in the home will be most suitable in meeting their needs. A family able to provide structure, predictable routine, loving support and lots of affection will see the girls thrive. The ability to ensure they are connected to the specialized resources that will enable them to meet their full potential is essential, as is a willingness to facilitate ongoing connections with family. These endearing girls will offer so much to the lucky forever family that embraces them.
