Overview

The Tribunal considers each case independently is are not bound by its prior decisions. However, past decisions may be useful for giving an indication of the kind of evidence& the Tribunal may take into account.

Search for a decision

You can search for Tribunal decisions by name, date, location (including land description), or keyword through:

If you are unable to locate a particular decision, contact the Tribunal.

Only a minority of surface rights disputes between landowners and operators result in decisions. Most disputes are resolved by the parties. This means that you might not be able to find any decisions about lands near you or that discuss your exact situation.
