Synopsis
Drama. Based on the novel “Oil” by Upton Sinclair. An early 20th Century oil prospector (Daniel Day-Lewis) comes across the potential opportunity of a lifetime and has to contend with the local community, and in particular a charismatic preacher (Paul Dano), who sit on top of the land.
