Dir: James Mangold. Biography/Music. Based on the book 'Dylan Goes Electric! Newport, Seeger, Dylan, And The Night That Split the Sixties' by Elijah Wald. After becoming dissatisfied with his reputation as a traditional folk singer/songwriter in the early 60s, Bob Dylan (Timothée Chalamet) debuts his new music at the 1965 Newport Folk Music festival.
