Government-led trade missions enhance Alberta’s trade market access and help Alberta businesses diversify into new and emerging international markets. Alongside Mary Ng, federal Minister of Export Promotion, International Trade and Economic Development, Minister Jones will attend a Team Canada Trade Mission to meet with companies, potential investors and government officials in several high-value, in-demand sectors. The minister will meet with industry leaders in infrastructure, technology, agriculture and energy to discuss investment and trade opportunities for Alberta.

A total of 27 Alberta companies and organizations will be joining the trade mission. They will promote Alberta’s world-class products and solutions in areas such as energy, agriculture, innovation and clean technologies.

    • The top export to Indonesia was wheat ($351 million), which comprised nearly 75 per cent of exports.
