With courage and selflessness, they serve their community and come to the aid of neighbours, friends and strangers alike. They are the dedicated volunteers of Lamont County Emergency Services Station #5 – the Mundare Fire and Rescue crew.

These people work together as a team and are willing to risk their own safety to protect lives and property, despite the difficulties they face, showing what true service is all about.

The Mundare Fire and Rescue springs to action when it is called upon and responds to a wide range of emergency situations, including structure fires, vehicle accidents and medical emergencies.

This team has demonstrated its commitment by both responding to emergencies night or day and in all manner of conditions and staying up to date and prepared through ongoing training. As Albertans confront the realities of increasingly difficult wildfires, the Mundare and area firefighters stand ready to defend its turf.

For this and so much more, we tip our hats and offer heartfelt thank you to Northern Lights Volunteer Recognition recipients Mundare Fire and Rescue.
