Lyn Radford has made her mark as a tireless community builder, with her volunteerism creating a lasting impact that extends far beyond the boundaries of Red Deer. As chair for the Canada Winter Games hosted by Red Deer in 2019, her organizational talents and leadership helped ensure a successful event for athletes from across the nation.

Lyn’s contributions to numerous committees, taskforces and alliances for community development have included support of local sports, health and education initiatives. A recent effort includes serving as chair of the Red Deer Homelessness Task Force, and Lyn played a key role in the development of a final report that brought forward a strategy focused on addressing an issue through collaboration.

For her commitment to the community and its residents, Lyn Radford is a worthy recipient of Northern Lights Recognition.
