Introduction
The Municipal Internship Program is Canada’s longest, continuous running internship program for new and recent post-secondary graduates to gain first-hand, practical experience and training in municipal government.
The internship is an 18-month intensive program that allows participants to work under the mentorship of a senior municipal professional, develop a broad understanding of municipal government and develop skills and competencies in administration, finance or land use planning.
