Service description: ASSIST Multicultural Parent Education Program aims to increase parents and caregivers’ capacity and knowledge to foster children’s wellbeing and resiliency. Culturally and linguistically appropriate parenting education programs are offered to parents and caregivers of children aged 0 to 18 years old. These programs also help to build socio-cultural connections and support systems for newcomers and refugee families we serve.

Service description: Family Futures Resource Network offers a broad spectrum of quality child and youth social skill and mental health development groups for individuals from birth through to 18 years of age. These popular groups strengthen developmental domains and increase attachment between the parent and child/youth. The groups are offered either in person, online, or prerecorded in an environment that promotes resiliency and skill development.

Service description: Family Futures offers caregiver education programs aimed to increase caregivers’ knowledge regarding child and youth development. As well as providing opportunities to connect with other caregivers in a supportive environment.

Service description: Trained Family Mentors provide caregivers with information and support to help them improve their parenting skills and provide a safe, nurturing environment for their children. Caregivers are provided with community resources to help strengthen the family and provide children with a strong foundation. Participation in family mentorship is voluntary and the frequency of service is based on family need.

Service description: We provide Intensive Family Support Services geared towards building healthy attachments, healthy relationships, and healthy families in an effort to improve overall family functioning to help prevent family breakdown and child mistreatment. Since no two families are the same, we have learned to customize support to families based on their specific needs.
