  • Service description: Family Futures Resource Network offers a broad spectrum of quality child and youth social skill and mental health development groups for individuals from birth through to 18 years of age. These popular groups strengthen developmental domains and increase attachment between the parent and child/youth. The groups are offered either in person, online, or prerecorded in an environment that promotes resiliency and skill development.

  • Service description: Trained Family Mentors provide caregivers with information and support to help them improve their parenting skills and provide a safe, nurturing environment for their children. Caregivers are provided with community resources to help strengthen the family and provide children with a strong foundation. Participation in family mentorship is voluntary and the frequency of service is based on family need.

  • Service description: Cultural Supports supports Family Futures Resource Network (FFRN) Hub and Spoke programs of the Southeast Edmonton Family Resource Network in providing intercultural programs and services that foster healthy bi-cultural identities amongst children, youth, and families and that recognize the cultural wealth of the diverse communities of SE Edmonton. The program also works to enhance collaborations with systems and community partners, such as Child Intervention, to better serve diverse families. Finally, Cultural Supports works to enhance the reach of FFRN Hub and Spoke programs to engage cultural minority communities.
