  • Service description: The CanTEEN Youth Hub was created and designed to offer youth in Strathcona County and area a safe and accepting place to gather. The youth have created a great sense of community in the youth hub that is warm and welcoming to any youth who comes through our doors. Inside the youth hub is a place that is supportive and judgement free by all youth and staff. Youth outreach programs are varied and aim to facilitate and promote young people’s emotional, physical, cognitive, and social needs while supporting them in reaching their full potential. These programs provide opportunities to youth including ‘brain building’ activities and educational supports through positive and supportive relationships with their parents, peers, and other adults. These activities develop executive functioning skills including emotional self-regulation, decision making, and planning.
