  • Service description: Family facilitation includes elements of parent education as well as child and youth development programming. All parent education programs offered by the FRN provide support for parents wanting to learn about their child’s development in a variety of areas and enhancing their parenting knowledge and skills to support their family. The Early Childhood Development component is a service that strives to support and enhance both infant/child wellbeing as well as infant/child development. Child development activities included in this program will be directly related to the following developmental domains: Fine Motor Skills, Gross Motor Skills, Communication Skills, Problem Solving Skills and Personal-Social Skills. Developmental Support Plans will be used as a service plan for families who require a specialized referral but must wait for services. The Child and Youth Development component is a service that strives to support and enhance both child/youth wellbeing as well as child/youth development. Some well-being domains are addressed concurrently with child development activities, while others are addressed within evidenced-based parent education curriculums that McMan Central delivers.
