  • Program type: Child and youth development and well-being supports

  • Service description: Our Cultural Learning Centre and Playschool program brings opportunities for children 0 month to 6 years of age and their families to engage in early child development programming imbedded with Indigenous traditions to foster growth and knowledge while making social connections. We follow and encourage the interests of the children and their families with emergent learning opportunities as each develop and learn at their own pace. Parents, caregivers, or a trusted family member attend with the child and when they are 19 months old and show readiness, they can transition into a drop off class. Once in a drop-off class, family members participate in a way of their choosing monthly.
