Service description: Accredited Supports to the Community – ASCEND Family & Parenting Support program is an intensive family support program that provides a tailored, comprehensive support for families within their homes and communities. Family Support Practitioners are accredited in multiple Triple P Positive Parenting programs: The Triple P – Positive Parenting Program is an internationally recognized program that gives parents the skills they need to raise confident, healthy children and teenagers, and to build stronger family relationships.

Service description: Trained Home Visitation Practitioners provide caregivers with information and support that helps them improve and enhance their parenting skills and provide a safe, nurturing environment for their children. Practitioners link families to a network of community services and resources that can help strengthen a family’s well-being. Participation in home visitation is voluntary and services are based on individual family needs.

Service description: Family and Youth Support Services recognize that families and youth have unique experiences and at times need help to navigate these. Families and youth are supported to help address these experiences with individualized support from a Family and Youth Resource Specialist.

Service description: Child and Youth Development and Well-Being Services focus on social, emotional, physical, cognitive and spiritual development of children and youth from birth to the age of 18 years. Through these services and programs children, youth and their families experience enriched learning opportunities that enhance development and well-being

Service description: MVFRN provides opportunity for parents and caregivers to build on caregiver capacity. These parent education opportunities are for parents and caregivers who are expecting a child or have a child under the age of 18 years. Parent Education supports are tailored to the family and their unique experiences.
