  • Service description: The Y Parent program provides a combination of alternative high school education and life skills development with on-site access to a licensed daycare that supports children newborn to 5 years of age. This gives the Y Parent participants (13-20 years) who are pregnant and/or parenting the ability to complete high school while building their well-being and resiliency through essential life skills (e.g., parenting skills and techniques, budgeting, conflict-resolution, communication, healthy relationships, literacy, mental health, and wellness, etc.).

And Traditional Trails programs aimed at including youth in ceremony or other healing practices, so they may learn about Indigenous worldviews, culture, traditions, values, ceremony and language.
