Service description: Home Visitation Programs provide in-home parent education and family support services to expectant parents and those with children newborn to 6 years of age. Home Visitation serves families who face challenges that may place their children at risk and keep them from developing their full potential.

Service description: Parent Education offers evidence-based education classes and groups that aim to help strengthen parent/ caregiver capacity through supporting parents/ caregivers to strengthen their parenting skills and confidence, increase their knowledge in child/youth development and increase their ability to problem solve.

Service description: Skill building groups based on evidence-based curriculum to develop self-confidence, self-awareness and critical-thinking skills in children ages 7-13. The groups will be available in the evening hours as well as within limited school locations.

Service description: The Y Parent program provides a combination of alternative high school education and life skills development with on-site access to a licensed daycare that supports children newborn to 5 years of age. This gives the Y Parent participants (13-20 years) who are pregnant and/or parenting the ability to complete high school while building their well-being and resiliency through essential life skills (e.g., parenting skills and techniques, budgeting, conflict-resolution, communication, healthy relationships, literacy, mental health, and wellness, etc.).

Service description: The Miywasin Youth Development Program will provide specific youth programming; Filling Our Tipis a 6-8 week program running 6 times a year alternating in targeted age cohorts. Medicine Wheel program to support youths Emotional, Physical, Mental, and Spiritual health and wellness. And Traditional Trails programs aimed at including youth in ceremony or other healing practices, so they may learn about Indigenous worldviews, culture, traditions, values, ceremony and language. Such ceremonies may include Round Dances, Powwows, Full Moon Ceremonies, Sweat Lodges.

Service description: This spoke provides Parenting Education programs that foster Indigenous ways of life while helping participants understand how important they are as first teachers, in passing on the teachings of living healthy, balanced lives, connected to culture. Programming and activities for children ages 0-6 years old while their caregivers attend Parent/Caregiver Education programming are also provided. The Children’s Program incorporates traditional Indigenous values and teachings.
