Coal projects listing

This list includes mines, plants and gasification projects. It is sorted by the last updated date, with the most recent first.

In-Situ projects listing

In-situ recovery is used for deep bitumen deposits more than 75 m below the surface, methods are used to liquify the bitumen for extraction. Sand is left in the ground and tailings ponds are not required. This list is sorted by the last updated date, with the most recent first.

Oil sands projects listing

This list also includes oil sands upgraders. It is sorted by the last updated date, with the most recent first.

Other projects listing

This list includes quarries, plants, chemical projects and more. It is sorted by the last updated date, with the most recent first.

To view current and historical environmental impact assessments (EIAs) search Environmental Impact Assessment and the respective project or company name in the Open Government Portal:
