Overview
Additional grant funding is available to municipalities and Metis Settlements to support economic recovery and jobs.
Funding will be distributed based on existing grant programs.
Funding
Grants for specific municipal projects will be funded under:
- the Strategic Transportation Infrastructure Program (STIP)
- the Alberta Municipal Water/Wastewater Partnership
- First Nations Water Tie-in Program
Funding amount
- Approximately $200 million
Eligibility
Projects have been selected primarily from the program intakes that closed in fall 2019.
