Overview

Camp Wonder Warden provides young women, ages 16 to 18, the opportunity to explore a career in conservation law enforcement. Campers are educated about the career of an Alberta Fish and Wildlife Officer, inspired to contribute to conservation and empowered to be leaders.

Camp Wonder Warden is a free, overnight summer camp, which runs from August 17 to 21, 2025, in central Alberta. Complete the form below to apply for this opportunity. Selected applicants will be invited to an on-line interview.

As part of the selection process, campers must write approximately 1500 words on why they are interested in attending Camp Wonder Warden and outline their interests in the world of conservation law enforcement. Content can include specifics about the applicant, interests, career goals, volunteer experience, etc.

Camp Wonder Warden is aimed for girls interested in a career in conservation law enforcement. As such, the camp is filled with activities that require a moderate level of fitness. Is the applicant prepared to participate in all aspects of camp?
