Your views helped us plan Budget 2023. Alberta continues to lead the country in economic growth, but we know the inflation crisis and rising costs of living are causing challenges for many people.

Budget 2023 secures Alberta's future by helping to keep more money in your pockets, improve our health-care system, create jobs and grow our economy – and continue to stand up for Albertans.

Online survey

Feedback was collected through an online survey from December 3, 2022 to January 15, 2023. Thank you to the thousands of Albertans who took the survey.

Written submissions

Chambers of commerce, industry associations, community organizations, municipalities and other groups were invited to submit letters or reports online outlining their budget priorities. Thank you to all the organizations that shared their thoughts.

Telephone town halls

Telephone town halls were held on December 19 and 20, 2022. Thousands of Albertans shared their priorities directly with Finance Minister Travis Toews. We thank everyone who participated in these discussions.

Outcomes

Your input helped inform the development of Budget 2023, which was tabled February 28, 2023.
