Introduction
February is Black History Month in Alberta, a time to celebrate Black Albertans’ contributions to our communities and cultural fabric.
Black Albertans have played an important role in our province’s history and greatly contributed to Alberta’s economic and social life.
In February, we encourage all Albertans to gain a better understanding of our shared past and how we can work together to build a better future.
