BIO 2024 provides an opportunity for biotechnology and pharmaceutical sector leaders, public sector representatives and health science researchers to network and develop partnerships. With more than 20,000 industry leaders from around the world expected to attend, it is the largest and most comprehensive event for the life sciences industry in North America.

While attending the conference, the ministers will meet with business leaders, leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, and government representatives to promote Alberta’s life sciences sector, establish and maintain strategic relationships with high-profile stakeholders and position Alberta as a life sciences investment destination.

Minister LaGrange will travel with three staff members and Minister Glubish will travel with two staff. Trip expenses for the ministers will be posted on the travel and expense disclosure page.
