“Our government has committed to building a continuing care centre at Willow Square to provide seniors with access to good care and support. This RFP is another step forward in the development of both the facility and the site, in co-operation with the community and the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. Significant effort has gone into laying the groundwork for this project and I’m excited to see it move ahead.”
The RFP closes on March 7 and the successful proponent will be tasked with developing the requirements and specifications for the continuing care centre Design-Build RFP.
Government will continue to work closely with the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo and other community stakeholders to ensure a co-ordinated approach throughout the project.
