Cochrane-area youth have found a friend in Paul Singh, who uses his time and talents to champion the well-being of children and young people in the community.
A long-time volunteer with the local Boys and Girls Club, Paul supports and leads fundraising efforts, hosting events and raising money to ensure youth programming remains accessible. Paul leads by example; his own volunteerism and mentorship activities serve as an encouragement for youth to become active participants in their community.
Paul also volunteers as one of the leaders of the Newcomers to Cochrane initiative, helping to build a more welcoming and inclusive community. He helps individuals settle into the community by connecting them with others sharing similar interests, hobbies and language skills.
For supporting youth and fostering a sense of belonging for all in the community, we honour Paul Singh as a Northern Lights Volunteer Recognition Program recipient.
