With a passion for community service, Jaide Kee is helping to unlock new opportunities for Strathmore-area job seekers by understanding the needs of those she serves.
As a volunteer with Prospect Human Services, Jaide recognized that not everyone is comfortable with online job search platforms and for some, access to the technology can also be a barrier. So, to accommodate clients who are more comfortable with traditional job search methods, Jaide developed a physical jobs board. Categorizing available positions by industry or job type, Jaide creates easy to understand employment ‘snapshots’ for clients and provides insights into local hiring trends to further assist job seekers.
Whether it is a young person looking for that first job, a senior wishing to re-enter the job market or someone struggling to overcome personal challenges and get back on track, Jaide steps up to help each visitor to the job board and take that next step along their career path. More than just administering the job board with up-to-date listings, Jaide is empowering those looking for work and helping to further enrich lives through the stability and satisfaction that comes with meaningful employment.
