An Alberta.ca Account provides you with secure access to multiple government programs and services. It is free to create an account.
Create an account
When you create an Alberta.ca Account, you can use your account for one of 2 purposes:
- Personal use
- Business use
If you need an Alberta.ca Account for both personal and business use, create separate accounts with different email addresses.
The personal information collected during account creation will depend on the type of online service you wish to access.
Delete your account
- To delete your account, call the contact centre at 1‐844‐643‐2789.
- Once deleted, you cannot sign in or use online services unless you create a new account.
- Deleting your Alberta.ca Account does not remove your information from the online services you have used. Your data stays safe and may remain active in those areas.

Your Alberta.ca Account lets you manage everything (except deletion) by yourself. When signing up for an Alberta.ca Account, you will consent to the use and disclosure of your personal information as identified in the Terms of Use.

If you think your account has been compromised, sign in and change your password immediately and inform the contact centre by calling 1‐844‐643‐2789.

Maintenance schedule
To maintain high quality services, our systems undergo regular maintenance. During the following maintenance windows, you may experience service deterioration or disruption:
- Monday to Saturday, 10 pm to 10:30 pm, (22:00 to 22:30) MT
- Sunday, 7 am to 12 pm, (07:00 to 12:00) MT
- Thursday night 11 pm (23:00), to Friday 3 am (03:00) MT
- Second Sunday of the month up to 24 hours
