Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The Mountain View County has issued a Water Supply Alert.

The Winchell Lake water treatment plant will be turning off the potable water system on Tuesday, February 25 at 08:00 hrs. Residents will lose pressure in the potable water system. Service should be restored by 1800 hrs on February 25.

Area: This alert is in effect for everyone within 25 kilometres of the Town of Sundre.

Affected areas (1):

• Mountain View County

Action to take:

• Refrain from opening up taps for non-essential use
• Once the system is restored, run your water taps to flush the system
• There may be air trapped in some lines so you may notice some spurting
