Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The Municipality of Jasper has issued a Wildfire alert.

The Jasper Wildfire Complex is still burning around Jasper. The Municipality of Jasper is downgrading its evacuation order to an evacuation alert for the Town of Jasper. Jasper National Park remains closed.

Area: This alert is in effect for everyone located in the Town of Jasper.

• Jasper residents and business owners can now re-enter the Town of Jasper
• Jasperites should be prepared to evacuate within a one-hour notice if the wildfire situation changes
• No evacuation is required at this time
• Keep your vehicles full of gas and keep track of your family's whereabouts
• Check the Municipality of Jasper’s Facebook page and website for the most current information
