Description: Severe thunderstorm warning in effect

At 3:32 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, nickel to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain. This severe thunderstorm is located 55 km south of Robb and is moving to the southeast at 10 km/h.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Large hail can damage property and cause injury. Remember, severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.

Area: Yellowhead Co. near Cadomin and Robb
