At 6:14 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time Saturday, Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Southeastern Alberta. Extra care and attention should be exercised in and around the following localities: Kirriemuir and Bodo. Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a very dangerous thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, baseball size or greater hail and heavy rain.

Area: S.A. 4 near Kirriemuir and Compeer

Affected areas (1):

• Special Area No. 4

Action to take:

• Take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches
• Intense lightning is likely and tornados are possible with any thunderstorm that develops.
