Description: Severe thunderstorm warning in effect
At 5:07 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, toonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain. This thunderstorm is located 5 km south of Caroline and is moving 35 km/h to the southeast.
Large hail can damage property and cause injury. Remember, severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
Area: Clearwater Co. near Caroline and James River Bridge
