Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The flood warning has been cancelled for the Hamlet of Entwistle.

Alberta River Forecast Centre has cancelled Flood Warning for the Pembina River downstream of Entwistle to where the Pembina River joins with the Athabasca River. Some areas of the Pembina Provincial Park Campground have been evacuated.

Area: This alert is no longer in effect for the Hamlet of Entwistle.

Affected areas (2):

• Yellowhead County
• Parkland County

Action to take:

• Follow the direction of local authorities
• While the water levels are dropping residents and visitors in the area should be extremely cautious around the river and stay away from the banks
• Recreational use of the river is NOT recommended as high-water levels are causing fast moving currents and debris.
