Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The Town of Whitecourt has updated the High Water Level Alert.
A flood warning remains in effect for the McLeod and Athabasca Rivers in Whitecourt. Whitecourt continues to monitor the water levels, and has experienced localized flooding in areas in town. The Evacuation Order for Westview Mobile Village will be lifted at 2:00pm and residents can return home. The Reception Centre located at the Allan & Jean Millar Centre will close at 2:00pm. The Evacuation Order for Sagitawah RV Park remains in effect. Evacuees are asked to register with the Park at 780-778-3734.
