Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The M D of Lesser Slave River has issued a four hour emergency warning.

Winds are expected to change which could cause unpredictable fire conditions, smoke and embers.

Area: This warning is for all residents in Hondo, the hamlet of Smith, and all properties on the East and West Fawcett Lake areas, including Broken Paddle and Fawcett Lake Resort.

Affected areas (1):

• Lesser Slave River No.124

Action to take:

• This is a four evacuation warning
• Everyone in the affected area must prepare for a possible evacuation
• Gather pets, important documents and medication, enough food, water and supplies for at least 3 days
• Stay tuned to www.alberta.ca/emergencyalert, and local media for updates
