Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The Kee Tas Kee Now Tribal Council is ending a mandatory evacuation order
The mandatory evacuation ORDER has been downgraded to an alert as there still is an active wildfire. All residents in the impacted area of Whitefish River and Atikameg must be prepared to evacuate on 1-hr notice. Please be cautious while driving home as crews are still working along highway 88.
Area: The affected areas are the communities of Whitefish River and Atikameg, Alberta
